We have built up a reputation for producing high quality printed products
They’re used for commemorations, building names, awards, dedications, office signage, and memorial purposes.
Material choice depends heavily on where the plaque will live. Outdoor plaques need weather resistance — metal, engraved laminate, or treated acrylic are common. Indoor plaques can focus more on visual appearance because they aren’t exposed to the elements. Different environments entirely.
We’ve produced plaques for community organisations across Louth, building openings, memorial installations, and projects that extend across Leinster where organisations operate multiple sites. Sometimes it’s a small desk plaque recognising an achievement. Other times it’s a mounted exterior sign fixed to brick or stone with stand-off mounts.
Text clarity matters a lot. Decorative fonts might look elegant close up but become difficult to read from distance. Clean lettering with good contrast tends to age better visually. Too much wording can also reduce readability. A plaque should communicate clearly without forcing someone to stand directly in front of it to understand.
Mounting options should be planned early. Screw holes, hidden fixings, adhesive backing, or raised stand-offs all change the look slightly. If it’s being installed onto stone or brick, drilling points need to align properly. Planning this before production avoids headaches during installation.
Spelling checks are critical. Names, titles, dates. A plaque isn’t something you want to replace because of a typo. We always recommend reviewing wording slowly and carefully before approval.
If you have wording and approximate size, send it through. If you’re unsure about materials, we can advise based on location and budget. Get in touch when you’re ready and we’ll keep it straightforward.
