We have built up a reputation for producing high quality printed products
Builders, architects, engineers, and homeowners rely on printed drawings to communicate measurements, layouts, and technical details clearly. A blurry or incorrectly scaled print can cause real problems on site.
Large-format printing is usually required because plans often include detailed dimensions that need to be readable. A1 and A0 sizes are common, though smaller formats are sometimes used depending on the project. Paper weight matters too. Slightly heavier paper holds up better during handling on site, especially when drawings are being folded and unfolded repeatedly.
We regularly print plans for construction projects across Louth and surrounding areas, and many projects extend across Leinster with teams working between Dundalk, Drogheda, and Dublin sites. Having clear printed drawings helps everyone stay aligned — contractors, electricians, plumbers, and inspectors all referencing the same information.
Scale accuracy is critical. If a plan is printed incorrectly scaled, measurements become unreliable. That’s why it’s important to confirm scale settings before printing. If you’re unsure, we can check files to ensure they’re output correctly. Small step, but important.
Folding is another consideration. Large drawings are often folded to A4 size for transport or storage in site folders. Proper folding makes them easier to handle without damaging edges. Laminated or encapsulated plans are sometimes requested for outdoor or heavy-use environments where drawings need protection from moisture or dirt.
Digital files usually arrive in PDF format from architects or designers, which works well for printing. If you’ve received plans electronically, sending them directly ensures the best quality output. Screenshots or photos of drawings rarely hold enough detail.
Turnaround can matter with house plans because construction schedules move quickly. A revision might be needed overnight before work continues the next day. We understand that urgency and aim to keep printing straightforward once files are ready.
If you have plans to print, send them over with required sizes and quantities. If you’re unsure about scale or format, get in touch and we’ll advise before printing so everything comes out correctly.
